Is there anyone who is interested in a deeper friendship? I have multiple mental disorders and have an extremely hard time making friends, being out in society, and being 'crazy' in general. I'm looking for someone with similar problems who I can confide in and who can confide in me!

Reposting. Let me just say that because I’m thinking so hard about this you all should feel honoured… really. I even highlighted in red (because that's DBSK's fanclub colour... if you don't know who they are, ignore the stuff in the brackets) what is the more important stuff for those people that are just skimming!
Hey y'all, my name's Ahya (try pronouncing that… go on I DARE you) Kamal. I turned 15 on the 9th of December and am in my sophomore year of high school. I love to write and read because my parents encouraged it and then it just kinda got out of control to the point where they want me to stop LOL. Does this mean I’m smart? Well I don’t know it depends on your definition, doesn’t it? I did get on the honour roll last year and am aiming for the same thing for pretty much all of high school and university too (not to brag, but anything that gets me penpals haha). So what types of books do I read? Anything really... length doesn't deter me. Genre wise though I'm keen on romantic comedies and things that make me think. My current favourite is My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Pocult. I allow my genre to widen for movies and will watch ANYTHING that's not porn x]. My current movie fave is Paris Je T'aime. For music, I have a 950+ song library which is always expanding. I’ll listen to anything really and see for myself if it’s likable or not. I like to think I’m diverse because I listen to worldly stuff like Urdu/Hindi music, French music, Spanish songs, a hell load of Korean and Japanese music and of course English stuff of any genre. And then I watched a French movie (with English subs but whatever, it's the thought that counts) too! So someone who's into worldly music and movies would be nice as well.

About Me:
I love to talk and I talk way too fast. I'm very personable, but not so much outgoing. I'm a type of person that will sit and watch a group of people interact before joining in. I'm very adaptable. I have many acquaintances, but few close friends. I love to lead, but hate being the leader.

I love to write, read and sketch although I don't think I'm really any good. I love to take pictures, but I very rarely post them. I'm a bit old school in that I like to make photo books instead of online albums. I think it's something about the physical picture in your hands that does it for me. i'm a theology student - or i was. i've just decided to take the rest of the year out. i have depression and struggle to cope (i know, i'm making myself sound really appealing as a pen pal, right?!). i'm now looking for a job and failing miserably! i'm a catholic, but i love learning about other religions and lifestyles. i love riding, and archery, when i can afford it. i will read anything, i enjoy nothing more than losing myself in a good book. 'the great gatsby' is quite possibly my all-time favourite, or anything by rumer godden. i like biographies, and i actually love being a geek and reading anything relevant to my course. i am the least musical person i have ever met, but i listen to a variety of things - imogen heap, nerina pallot, some classical, some gregorian chant, simply because i think it may be the most beautiful thing in the world.
meeting new people is fun, but terrifying. i'm scared of many things. i have days when i feel so sad it's hard to breathe. but i love life, and there's so much i want to do. i want to go to india and china and america. this year, i'm going to learn italian, and how to play tennis. i go walking in the rain, and i take my camera everywhere so i can take photos of beautiful things. i write poetry and short pieces of prose, and hide them under my mattress. i have no idea what i want to do with my life, but i know i want to help people. in spite of everything, i believe that people are good, and that one person can make a difference in the world. i don't think that makes me naive.

I love to listen to country music like Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, Brooks&Dunn, and so on. I also love to listen to cheesy pop music as well! I'm not ashamed that I still love Britney Spears and NSYNC, Lady Gaga, Backstreet Boys, Hanson, the old Now! music cds are still amazing to me! I also love broadway musicals like RENT, Wicked, Oklahoma, I just saw Wonderland last night and it was amazing! I also listen to ICP and will gladly associate myself with any and all Juggalos and Juggelettes that I meet. But to be truthful, Psychopathic records is as far into the rap scene that I will ever get. I don't like rap music, I can't stand the double standards of it. Won't say why on here, but you are free to ask me!
Books: I read very sporadically, but I do love Pride and Prejudice and all the books I've read that have been spinoffs of that, Harry Potter was a good series of books, as well as the Twilight books. I'm currently trying to read all of the books from Charlaine Harris that inspired the show True Blood! I've finally completed the first one, but I lost my copy of the second one and so I'm going to have to find it soon I think.
Movies: I absolutely LOVE movies! Afraid of movie theaters. But I own over 180 dvds (not including the tv show sets) and have about 200 or so movies on my computer as well.
Television Programs: I don't like to watch tv that much really. I fell in love with True Blood on HBO after watching the whole series on HBO on Demand. But that was random. I do however love the older shows that are no longer playing like Gilmore Girls and Full House. I do like to watch old reruns of ER every now and then, and the show House has peaked my interest. I love how sarcastic he is!
Food: I'm not a big food fan really. Hook me up with some chicken strips, mashed potatoes and corn and I'm good! Maybe vary it a little with turkey instead of chicken haha! But seriously, I don't eat much but I do like to snack a little every now and then. Popcorn is my downfall.
Favorite Things: animals, the ocean, candles, fire, living in Florida, music, watching movies cuddled up in a blanket, doing crafts, reading magazines like Cosmo and Redbook, getting on the internet, XboxLive!, videogames that allow me to control people (think Sims and Village People), and being a very random person!

I love reading, but with school I tend to run out of time to do it in. I grew up on Harry Potter, but that really isn't my usual genre. I like historical fiction, and biographies. I just finished reading Beloved. I enjoyed The Lovely Bones. I love Chuck Palaniuk, and Choke is my favorite book by him. Sarah Dessen books restore my faith in relationships. I liked reading Wicked, Revolutionary Road, Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, The Virgin Suicides, Cathedral, and many more. I enjoy poetry. Sylvia Plath is my favorite poet. I like Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Television-
Most of what I watch on TV is sports related. I am an avid NBA fan. Portland is my favorite team. Followed by the Utah Jazz and LA Lakers. I have strong feelings of dislike toward the Celtics. I am embarrassed to admit that I used to like the Timberwolves. My favorite player is Rudy Fernandez. I also watch Pac-10 and LA Sparks games. Lets see here, I figured I should probably write a good bio this time instead of the usual where i live, age, hobbies, ect.
My name is Kendra Kay, and I'm young, but old at heart. I'm 18 years old, but have been through more than most teenagers. I have my issues, but I also have some great qualities. My issues make me a character! haha.
I have a difficult time making friends in real life due to some social anxiety, and what not. I'm also bipolar, but I promise I wont pull a crazy on you!
As far as what I enjoy doing...I love to write! its probably the one thing that I do especially well, and it also shows in my letters. I listen to a variety of music depending on my mood, and I also enjoy reading! I'd love to travel someday(I've been to a few countries in Europe, but thats it.) but I'm not all that sure when. I have a love of cute stationary, but I also enjoy decorating my own paper or writing on notebook paper(not the frilly kind!) because I enjoy the simplicity of it all.
Did I mention I'm creative? I'm collaging one of my walls at the moment with postcards and funky stuff. One of my favorites so far is a sushi shaped air freshener hanging from my bulletin board!
As far as my penpalling goes, Im looking for people who will actually stick around! I want a lasting friendship and I would prefer long-ish letters if possible. I for sure will stay around as your friend, so no worries there.
